Benjamin Banneker Park

I’d give this five stars except there are no restrooms handy.

Benjamin Banneker Park is one of the best playgrounds around. It allows for safe play that is also thrilling to tots and young children. There are tons of things to do and it is not like any other playground. It allows children opportunities for open ended play and space to move. So beautiful as well and my child loves it there!

Beautiful playground with new structures for kids. Lots of bikes and toys for play. No public restroom.

The dog park has water and things for dogs to climb on/through. There are walking trails and an epic playground, as well as a soccer field.

Great park with a wonderful sand pit, water fountains, shaded area to eat, great equipment to climb on & of course slides. No big kid swings and no toilets. There is a port a potty near the dog park which is also where we parked as there is no assigned lot.

Great creativity motivation play equipment! Plenty of room to run in grassy fields. Separate areas for younger and older kids. Shaded picnic tables.

Excellent park that connects to Isaac Crossman Park and the W&OD Trail. Walking trails, soccer field and basketball court can be found, along with a very cool playground. The playground has unique features such as little climbing boulders, spider web net swing, twisty slide, pavilion and more.
An added bonus is the playground has extremely bouncy and absorptive rubber flooring that keeps the kids safe!
