The Riverhouse Cafe

Had a delicious Veggie Club with fries today at The River House Cafe!
It was my first time ordering this particular sandwich, and it was amazing! Vegan meals that are satisfying are hard to come by, so I was very happy to find something so good.
Service was great as always, 2 lunches ready to go under 20 minutes!

After hearing how great this place was from multiple friends, I can confirm the rumors are true! We had a delicious breakfast and can't wait to go back. Loads of options to choose from so there's something for everyone. This place is popular so you might wait but it's worth it!

Had a really good meal at lunchtime. The place was busy and the service was quick and friendly. Got a Turkey sandwich with jalapeños and it was tasty!

This cafe is everything you would expect from a cafe. Unique artsy pictures with some old style flair. Cozy little tables for 2 high tops. Seats at the bar, and family size settings. The place closes at 2, so plan ahead. The French toast was amazing! Looks like they make their own, it’s the size of a large oval dinner plate. Our service was beautiful inside and out. Adult beverages are available and breakfast all day.

Great food! Awesome breakfasts (my husband's favorite) and great sandwiches at lunch (my favorite). Service has always been great. It does get busy and parking can be tough, but definitely worth it.

We were told we would have a 20-minute wait to be seated. We were sitting down in about 6 minutes. The food was spectacular, and the service was amazing. The atmosphere was nice, only downside, the chairs were not comfortable... had it not been for the bench butt, would have been 5s across the board. I will absolutely be back and hope to get Renée as a server. She was just awesome.

Definitely not our usual breakfast experience. We are usually fairly traditional when it comes to breakfast. Bacon, eggs, homefries, toast, perhaps a veggies omelet.
This place had that but so, so much more that is just too good to resist!
I ordered The Pig Pile and DH had The Barnyard.
Both are served in big bowls with cheesy hash browns stacked with other yummies like bacon, eggs, chopped sausage or the homemade sausage patties (yum). Then the pour sausage gravy over it all.
So damn good. I was only able to finish half my bowl (DH devoured his). I had to save room to try the pumpkin pancakes and the baked apple pancake. So tender, hot, and delicious!
We also ordered a side of the corned beef hash which was great as well.
Glad we got there shortly after they opened at 8am as it was mobbed when we left shortly after 9:30.
There was a wait (about 15 minutes) but totally worth it.
Would definitely return again.
