My kids love this place! It deserves more recognition for its extensive railroad history exhibits and hands-on experiences. The train ride was a hit, and exploring the miniature trains inside the museum was a highlight of our visit.

This is a great little gem. The folks that volunteer do a bang up job at making this an enjoyable location to visit. It may not be the flashiest place incorporating state of the art technology, but it is staffed by people passionate about trains and transportation. Any one of the gentlemen there working on a display or making repairs will stop and spend time talking to guests about an attraction or how they got involved at the TTM. My kids love the train sets set up outside and inside. They also love the train ride.

Great for kids that loves train. I went with the family and it was fun to walk around and see the different trains. This train museum is managed by volunteers and they do their best to keep up to date. The price is reasonable. Come and support this place you will not regret it.

The Texas Transportation Museum is a great place to bring the kids for a unique adventure! The staff are all passionate about the history of the trains and different parts of the grounds provide a fun and interesting look into the past. You can walk through old train carts, an old engine, get a ride in an old locomotive, and even book a private party on one of the old train cars. If you make your way to the very back there is a building with model trains set up and some vintage vehicles. There’s also a large outdoor section with large model trains running around. If you’re looking for something laid back and interesting this is a great stop!

Time again for Santa’s Railroad Wonderland! We absolutely love going here year after year to see all the lights and festive atmosphere. Definitely worth a visit!

I took my older brother hear because he loves all things trains and we had a blast! While small, this museum is perfect for any train aficionado or someone who likes to learn. Getting to walk through the old passenger car and hear my brother talk about all the train facts he knew was so fun, would love to come back and check out the different events they do for various holidays (they were dressing up for Halloween when we got there)!
