Great staff, nice selection, plenty to do. Great library!

I just renewed my library card after YEARS of inactivity. Haven't been into the library since I was a kid. It brought back so many memories of my mom taking me to pick out toys and books to fill my need for creativity! The staff is just as beautiful and friendly as they were when I was a tiny reader. I was helped today by a lady named Ashley who was wholesome and and very kind. She answered my questions with a smile and even suggested things that could help me have a better library experience. We shared some laughs and I felt very welcome and taken care of as I left the beautiful building.Thank you so much Ashley for your kindness and smiles. And thank you Lethbridge for keeping the Public Library a safe and welcoming place for everyone. ♡

A nice place to study and read in Lethbridge, bright, clean and organised.
Staff members are friendly and informative.
Definitely come back for more books.
Although there are some weird people hanging in the toilet and outside. But they don’t bother so I just ignore them.
I think staff tried their best to solve this problem.

Great library with lots of selection. I wish they would do more about the people heckling you outside. It seems like security doesn't want to do their job sometimes.

It's a nice place to study and read.. however... At times it's quite loud when I'm trying to study, whether it be staff shouting downstairs or the addicts and drunks who swarm in and sit in corners eating and drinking.. at times you feel unsafe walking in or walking anywhere alone and isolated with the amount of addicts.. wish that would change.

Honestly one of the best places in downtown lethbridge, helps the homeless get resources and a place to hide from the cold weather.
"Staff are excellent" is the least I can say.
Only problem is Paladin security can be a tad bit rude at times but that's not really a problem.

I love the Lethbridge Public Library!!! I have never been in such a bright, welcome, and peaceful environment in a library such as this. Through my eyes, the location is truly state of the art. The building itself, is very statuesque and esthetically pleasing to the eye. Upon entry through the main upper doors, you'll find yourself a desk of lovely librarians at the ready to welcome you or answer your queries. Through the children's area door downstairs, you'll be greeted with a zen environment of rushing water and a beautiful koi pond. The library has hosted many events in the past that I have personally attended and enjoyed; However, my favorite and most warm memory thus far has been the music recital that they hosted for Lethbridge Music Academy. The recital space was lovely and had plenty of space at the time to adhere to COVID restrictions at the time and adhere to social distancing rules within cohort groups. The library will forever be my happy places whether I am popping in briefly to surf the internet, settle down in a comfy spot to read a spell, or simply just walk through the peaceful and inclusive ambience that the library maintains.
