The worst Doctor I have ever experienced. Very rude & nasty & inconsiderate. I had waited 1 hour in the waiting area then was placed in the exam room for another hour. I asked to see the supervisor due to the 2hour wait. The supervisor came in and asked Dr. Akametali when would I be seen. Dr. Akametali yelled at her & said in a very nasty way to her I'm still seeing a patients I will get to her whenever I can she has to wait. So disrespectful. I got up & said you don't have to see me. I would never want to see a doctor like that. Who screams at there staff in front of the patient? I could not believe it. I left as fast as I could and had to pay for parking but didn't even get to see a doctor. That is it for me at Howard. When you tell the workers at HUH all the say is that's Howard for you. That is sad.

This hospital has helped me alot

This has to be the most unreliable unresponsive unprofessional clinic EVER the doctors don’t follow up with you and they leave you waiting forever during appointment times. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE

Went here for prenatal care, and the wait is ridiculous! For an 11am appt, I wasn't seen by the doc until 12:45pm!!!!!! Like seriously? And there was. No explanation. And don't get started on the wait for blood work, once I waited almost 2hrs and just gave up. Blood work is done on a separate floor, and at times 1 person is working. And the line can be looong! I will be switching hospitals soon as insurance season opens!!!!

My experience in this office was awful. The male doctor was very nonchalant and rude and in no way considerate of the circumstances. I left that office with more stress than when I entered. The blankets and gowns were covered in dust balls, walls thin as paper to hear the doctor and other patients confidential information being said, the doctor yelled instructions and orders from his office chair out to the nurse each time he needed something done..it was terrible. So disappointed in this service.

You can tell that the staff and ob/gyn's don't care about their patients nor their birthing plans. All they see are dollar signs! The urge you for a c-section and epidural and will even go far as to give your baby formula if you've been informing them of exclusively breastfeeding! They don't encourage your support team to be in the labor/delivery ward with you, especially your spouse. They will check you continuously after water breaking, which can cause an infection. They will even share horrifying birth stories to mutilate you into opting out of your original birthing plan. These things can lead to post partum depression.
