Diego Pops

Really fun place to come eat. The food was really good and had some really interesting flavors. We tried their brussel sprout nachos which exceeded my expectations. Their pickled onions on top were so good. Their elote corn was good but nothing crazy! I got a single taco with braised pineapple pork. Really yummy and the tortilla was super crispy.

Came here in a group of 9 , was accommodating on the patio right away . First time at Diego Pops , was greeted with a warm welcome from Emma our server. Emma was on point with her service and provided with exceptional hospitality. Some of us girls work in the industry and we can definitely tell when a server knows how to engage well with customers. Stands in the buzz area of old town.
Has good indoor and outdoor seating arrangement offering relaxing vibes.
Food is good, wide variety of Mexican optional and all cocktails. Service is quick and prompt.

One of the best happy hours in Old Town! $6 margaritas and half off appetizers is hard to beat. Highly recommend the Brussel sprout nachos, so good and more than enough for two people to share.

Okay, overall, I would say I had a good experience over there. Only complain I would say is our waitress. Did not come and check on us enough that it took forever for us to place a drink order. She did not come and refill our waters fast enough either. The reason i'm not sure because it wasn't that busy when we went.

Ask for the food, it was really good, The drinks are very good, and they have a lot of cute drinks that I didnt get to try, but I saw other people get them. I want to try next time for sure

Be warned parking is terrible, though I can not say that enough. If you drive a large car like I do and escalade, don't even bother parking in there. Few little parking spots they have in front of the restaurant, better to find one on the streets parking. It's hell getting out if you don't find parking, Trying to reverse is miserable with the traffic on scottsdale Road.

Come here during happy hour and enjoy their affordable margaritas! You can have them skinny, spicy or both! I would skip on the queso, it was oddly curdled and not pleasing to the mouth with texture. Not sure if I was served a foul batch or that’s how they make it.

We had a great time here. Great place for people of all ages to come and hangout. Teens and young adults especially! Really awesome!! I was not a fan of the chips and salsa though. Salsa was not my favorite. They were also late to bring chips two times. But they brought double chips when we asked again so I guess that makes up for it.
