Beautiful, well-maintained, easily traversed trails.
They have good stuff going on. Improving the visitor center. Hikes are easy to get to
Great viewing of ponds wildlife wildflowers. Overlooks and a few floating docks offered good viewing. Trails were easy and well marked. No trash left behind. Visitor center was nice as well as the interactive exhibits and gift shop.
It is a huge space that has less trails and more good drives .. with plenty of bird sightings to be had.. while..my camera is not good enough to catch them ..I'm sure it won't take much ....the kanyoo trail had a nice board walk was very flat and easy for any one to manage ...I'm sure there was more trails I just did not find on this visit ..
Very beautiful place. Nice to hike (be careful of ticks) but other than that I love seeing the animals and just sitting and being still. Snapped good shots as well.
This is the perfect place with loads of things a bird enthusiast can ask for between April through November.
Parking is limited with roughly 20 cars or so. The trail in itself is about a mile long loop which gives good options for some great photographs. If you are the adventurous kind, step on the other side of the white bridge and get into the trail.
