One of the widest, smoothest, cleanest boardwalks I have ever walked on. I walked a few miles along the beach and boardwalk on a lovely September afternoon, and it was wonderful. I'd like to come back and experience the area during the summer, but for my short visit when passing through, it was very enjoyable. The beach is clean and spacious with very soft sand.

This is not a free beach, it 15 per person. Which in my opinion is not worth it. Jones beach is not far away and it lot cleaner and nicer. They only charge 10 for parking. I recommend go to jones beach.
This beach is not very crowded, obviously because you have to paid for it. If you don’t like crowded, then this beach might be for you.

Great clean sandy beach on Long Island!! Suitable for families. The beach is paid ($ 15 per person, children under 12 years old - free of charge), after payment you will be given a green plastic card. The views are simply amazing: picturesque large stones, clean light sand and waves of the Atlantic Ocean!! On the beach area there is a cafe and a promenade.
Had a great time, peacefully and relaxing, great place to catch some sun. Nice and clean well maintained beach. I really enjoyed the Beach, I was there a day after Memorial Day so it was perfect not so crowded, Great board walk, good Facilities and after labor day no charge to get in great parking, by the way no dogs allowed. I recommend and definitely coming back again.
A really nice and clean beach. We went just out of season and the beach was quite empty. There are some big waves which will knock little kids over. I only gave it 4 stars because there appeared to be no conveniences, such as bathrooms, anywhere. The area is quite built up so not sure if it is just expected that you would use conveniences in the hotels nearby???
2.6 mile long boardwalk adjacent to the beach with convenient access to walk along the shore. Sun, birds, ocean breezes, people watching and guaranteed amazing sunsets await!!
