Price OK. And food also good. But need to improve

One of the worst experience happend today, we odered prawn fried rice and parota & chicken kuruma. Prawn are not properly cleaned & cooked. We eat with my families and childrens In chickens kuruma we food worm🤮🤢🐛insde. We spend money need to provide hygine and good quality food to customers. For kind request Municipality and hygiene inspection team need to check the hotel🙏🙏🙏

Biriyani is very poor. Not recommended. Sour taste. I think they are using tomato sauce instead of tomatoes.

We decided to have dinner at Alif Restaurant in Kumbakonam as we were searching for a place that offered both vegetarian and non-vegetarian options. It was conveniently located near our hotel, which made it a convenient choice.

For our meal, we ordered the grill chicken, and we were pleased to find that it was fresh and cooked to perfection. We also tried the egg fried rice, paneer Schezwan fried rice, and egg biryani, as mutton or chicken biryani was not available at that time (around 9 PM). The rates were reasonable, and considering it was a bustling shopping area, all the seats were occupied.

Overall, the food at Alif Restaurant was delicious, and the service was quick and efficient. The rates were also reasonable, making it a great choice for those seeking non-vegetarian options. If you're in Kumbakonam and looking for a tasty non-vegetarian meal, I would recommend giving Alif Restaurant a try.

Biryani is not good .Other than that Tandoori and Prawn thooku ordered was good. Most of the time my go to spot for Shawarma 😍

Went for dinner. Ordered Shawarma, Butter roti with butter chicken gravy, chicken 65. Still taste can be improved for roti. Waiting time would be 7 to 10 mins. Ambience should be improved.

Really disappointed with my last visit to the restaurant! The real problem is the worst behavior of the RUDE WAITER who doesn't know how to take orders and how to convey when the food is delay. we asked for bbq chicken and after a min we asked butter nan, the RUDE WAITER told us that we are too late to order nan as we should have order together when we order bbq!! Seriously!! Also with kind of sarcastic smile and the RUDE WAITER kind of ignoring the order and didn't wish to serve.. than we asked parotta (6pcs) after few mins RUDE WAITER brought just 2 pcs! We asked we ordered 6 pcs as we were 3 persons.. the RUDE WAITER replied us that yes with his favorite sarcastic smile the remaining parotta is in the pan (kallu) how can i bring from there now!? Again he said ok, if you want i can take those 2 parottas also back to kitchen! Imagine what kind of waiter they have it in the class restaurant.. when you are famous in city you should hire quality waiters and proper training and coaching on how to take orders, how to greet and how to convey the matters... i can see lots of comments about waiters and you should really take steps very quickly to reach at-least 4 stars in the review!!

Moreover, varieties of dishes are very less and very late service..
