Jumbo

Bought chicken 30 minutes ago and when I got home the chicken smelled like he died twice. The expiration date was in order but f me someone could’ve died from this. Ironically, met the manager at the counter who seemed pretty surprised by my comment about the chicken. I said it smells terribly and is slimy and just gross. I’m just curious if he would serve that to his family. Nonetheless, after receiving the very classic Dutch customer service - which is absolutely idiotic, not taking responsibility for anything not to say apologising, I was offered to exchange the chicken. Hygiene is definitely not a priority for this supermarket. So check the meats before you buy them (or anything else that requires a fridge), they just don’t care and you might end up with a bad experience.

Good job Jumbo, high prices for bad customer service and uncared for products.

I love this store. But I picked up sushi and later smelled that it was nasty. Otherwise jumbo is my favorite

very good. i like how they accepted credit cards. the staff was very helpful and the product selection was excellent

It has everything you need inside. Also the ready made lunch options are very good.

One of most unimpressive jumbo’s. Stock was missing across different categories, and it was merely mid afternoon. Staff was quite spread in all spaces in ways that were quite disruptive for strolling through. Also layout is rather unintuitive- you seem to find different items in random locations.
Last return of cart is right back at the store so park closely!

Nice big supermarket. A bit on the expensive side, similar to Albert Heijn in terms of prices and selection. More expensive than, let’s say, Lidl or Vomar. This particular Jumbo is quite big, so it has pretty much everything you might want to find in a supermarket, including some ready meal options.
