Nice trail by the elementary school to great views

The morning was perfect for a hike. Cool and a bit cloudy with the sun peeking through to greet our faces with some warmth. The hills were a beautiful green hue. From recent rains we have experienced here in So. California. This trail is also popular with the mountain bike community. I did notice some horseshoe tracks on the trail, but didn't witness the filly in person. This trail had some spectacular views. I would definitely recommend it. Enjoy friends. : )

Weird spot. I can't tell if it's actually a PUBLIC entrance as it's right next to an elementary school and you have to maneuver behind a classroom by a metal rail fence. Most people park in a lot on the other side of the school that is actually a public park. The trail has another entrance on the west end of the park some 3 blocks away.

Great place to go hiking!

This trail is not safe for hiking. There tons of bike riders who have no regards for hikers. They ride through extremely fast and will run you over if you don't move over and into the bush so they can ride by. I will never return to this hiking trail

Good steep trails. Parking is free at the Elementary but only during non business hours.

Great hiking with dog. Watch out for bikers coming downhills. No shade. Bring plenty water. Only restroom is, near the Elementary School so go before heading up to the trails.
