Was a lovely spot with ample free parking; dogs allowed, no benches or picnic tables & limited shade so come prepared. A beautiful lakeside spot. The outhouses were very clean and well equipped. Experienced the 2024 Eclipse there 👍
We came to watch the total solar eclipse from this spot. Nice grassy area with some branches, supper nice view. We found some fossils on the beach, which is my favorite aspect.
Absolutely love coming here! We take the dogs here almost daily to get their big walk in, and we love the views. The trail is usually pretty maintained. However, on occasion, it can be muddy, and I'd recommend staying clear of the edge due to corrosion of some rocks, etc. My daughter enjoys coming here to watch some waves :)
Great place for an evening walk through the lakeshores
Less busy but enough to enjoy the lake view. There are 6 to 7 benches and the only missing are no picnic tables and washrooms.
Hidden gem. A beautifully serene spot to start or end your day with an inspiring walk along lake side trails. Safe area for biking or walking. I just live it's beauty.
Perfect spot to stop for our packed lunch while driving through (Ontario to Newfoundland). Small, quiet, nice views, and benches in good repair.
