Over the Charles Rooftop Bar

We celebrated our 10 anniversary there with our family. The food was delicious, the view was spectacular! The igloo was so cozy and intimate. Our server, Maria was so kind and attentive, and we also got spoiled by the restaurant with a beautiful celebratory dessert plate. We will certainly be back!

The group we did this with really enjoyed the overall experience within the igloos. It’s a more affordable option than the igloos in seaport. I’ve tried both places and I’d say the view of the Charles river is way better. Our server Maria was very nice and patient with us especially since you will be in a time slot once you start.

We had a great time at this place. The rooftop igloos were comfortable and had a a great view. The parking in the garage was free. The food was fresh and delicious. The drinks were great. Our server (Maria) was fantastic (fun, friendly, attentive, professional, helpful)!

My girl friends and I booked and igloo here the other day and it was amazing! I can't recommend it enough! Our server Maria was AMAZING she was so sweet and accommodating. She even brought us blankets in case we wanted to be cozier! The igloos were super nice and you have a beautiful view of the city from the roof. The food was great and the drinks were delicious (and so well priced for Boston I couldn't believe it!).
I would even come back again just for Maria!

We celebrated our 10th anniversary here. This restaurant is awesome stunning views of Charles river Boston skylines and staff is wonderful. If you come here you will spend at least 4hrs. Food is decent not much options but it suffices. Cocktails were good to. Adriana bar manager was very kind and helpful. As we celebrating our anniversary they gave us the little treat of dessert that was really awesome feeling for us. Ambience and atmosphere is stunning. Definitely reservations are required. As we went on weekdays we don’t see much rush but I believe they get good rush during weekend time. Parking is not free here you need to park at the hotels parking garage. This place doesn’t looks like kid friendly because it’s romantic place rather than family space 😃

Great experience. Place and view incredible. Staff is very friendly, I would say up and beyond friendly. Our waitress Maria made this evening special. Honestly, I haven’t met such a nice service in Boston before. The food is very very delicious. Usually you don’t expect much from food on rooftop locations, but here it was tasty and big portions. For sure we will come here for all our special days and just for dates as well.

We dined at Over the Charles for our anniversary and it did not disappoint! The views alone are totally worth it but the service from the wonderful Maria was just icing on the cake! She made our special evening a wonderful experience to remember! The food was decent and came out quickly, but at no point did we feel rushed. Definitely recommend!
