A very fine, easy trail. Perfect for a relaxing walk in nature, around a.small lake. It's location is great, right in town. There is a playground for kids and boat rental. If you dexide to walk the whole loop, the path on the east side will get narrow and you will have to cross the river, which is not a big deal. Just keep going as we turned around thinking we made a wrong turn just to came back again and cross the river. Park is not crowded, but you will surely not be alone as this a residential area and folks like to stroll around with their dogs. Overall a great nature place for a quick retreat.

Since I live near the lake, I walk around the residential side about daily. I think my wife and I probably have the Lake Whetstone record. Moved to the village in 74, and to Whetstone in 83. Over that time we've walked 7 dogs around the lake. We're fortunate to have so many paths in the neighborhood. This year we've enjoyed the MV Center and the Professional Center development activity. Feel like I'm wondering all over so I'll stop now.
