I can certainly echo the thoughts of a previous reviewer. Definitely worth heading down the passage and up the quite gloomy stairs. The food was fantastic and I liked the no fuss and friendly service. It was SO quiet after a day fighting through the crowds of tourists. Very very reasonable price too. O.3l draught beer 30Kc.
The resturant is run by a Thai family,, it serves authentic thai food,, the portions are good,,I've been to Thailand more than 15 times and I can diffrentiate the thai food quality. I would rate the food as 8/10
Don't be put off by the entrance and the passageway and the steps. This restaurant serves really nice food. I had spring rolls followed by a chicken red curry - delicious!
Tasty food, cozy atmosphere and welcoming service! Taste like home! The owners are actually from Lao, so if you are Lao and craving for Lao food and talking in Lao, definitely place to visit 🥰 I had a great time eating there 💕
It was very good if you’re looking for the real Thai spicy taste just let them knows.
The entrance is small from the main road then go to 2nd floor (or they call 1st here). I recommend for everyone who wants to have authentic Thai-Lao food. They can make the spicy from mild taste to spicy as authentic like I have in Thailand. The total bill is 1310kcs (55euro) for 4dishes 2 rice and 2 drinks, which is cheap compare to other Thai restaurants in Europe.
Delicious Thai restaurant! Siam Orchid was a nice change of pace meal in Prague after eating tons of regional fare. The lemongrass soup was delicious- sour and spicy. We also had the seafood salad appetizer, which was really really spicy- my wife could not eat it- but I loved it. For entrees we had green curry vegetables and the basil pork- both delicious.
