In May 2024, the shopping center is in a pretty good spot in terms of construction vacancies, etc.

The hardware shop is definitely a highlight, but some of the old standards are great as well.

It's Montgomery County. So good luck with parking..it's Montgomery County. So good luck with parking...

I actually shopped at Strosniders. I am impressed with the services here. All of the employees here are very friendly and helpful compare to some bigger stores that I experienced in the past. This store has superb customer service and great employees working for them. The other stores such as Home Depot or Best Buy and Giant Pharmacy, you couldn't get any help from workers. They tried to avoid customers but Strosniders employees are not hiding or walking away from you. The employees saw you looking for something, they came and offered assistance. I love this store. Anne at the checkout is also 1 of the best employees there. She's very friendly and caring. I am grateful for her help that day.

A good number of shops and an open social atmosphere where I was able to sit w/ my lunch and take my time fixing the pack that broke on my journey down memory lane, Lol.

Incredibly attentive staff who always know how to help you or will point you to the colleague who does.

This shopping center is incredibly frustrating to visit due to the major lack of parking. I can never seem to find an open spot when I stop by, no matter what time of day it is. I've circled the small parking lot countless times, waiting for shoppers to leave so I can snag their spot. But as soon as one person leaves, three more cars swoop in competing for the same space.

The management has clearly overestimated the capacity of the lot compared to the high foot traffic drawn into this bustling center. There just aren't enough spaces to accommodate the streams of customers going to Ace Hardware, Chipotle, 7-11, Five Guys and the other shops all jammed into this compact area.

Even if you do get lucky and find a spot, it's sure to be at the far back corner of the lot, requiring a lengthy walk just to reach the front doors of the stores. And if you have young kids or are disabled, that trek across the vast parking lot is even more of a challenge.

As it stands now, the frustrating lack of parking prevents me from stopping into these stores as often as I'd like. I don't mind walking a bit from my car to the shops, but this center takes that to the extreme.

Convenient location for folks who live in Kensington and Parkwood. But you should go out of your way to avoid shopping at stores like Stroesniders, 7-Eleven, or Chipotle during lunchtime. The parking lot is chaos and gridlock, with cars entering from every Connecticut, Knowles, and Detrick. Contractors routinely double park (and leave their vehicle) and often in the fire lane by the 7-Eleven.
