We just held my son's 4th birthday here and we had a fantastic experience! It couldn't have been easier, as parents, to plan. We told the owner the theme we wanted (Pete the Cat) and she immediately had multiple craft ideas and even went the extra mile to put out all Pete the Cat books on the reading shelves. Her and her husband were fantastic hosts and helped keep the children wrangled, on task, and organized the whole time -- like two veteran teachers! The projects were age appropriate and perfectly timed for a two-hour party. There's even a small, attached room for touch/tactile play, where she printed out Pete the Cat coloring pages to fill the time between crafts (while paint and/or glue dried). The kids were entertained the whole time and the space really lends itself to the smaller children getting up and trying new experiences, rather than being told to sit at one table for the duration. The price was great too! So quickly parties add up -- but the price was set and firm and we felt it was a fantastic deal. Thank you, Art Matters! We hope to be back soon!

Fabulous locally owned shop. Kerry was AMAZING. Something for everyone, projects for all ages, boys and girls. They offer easier projects for the artistically challenged and more complex projects for the more advanced artist. Comfortable, relaxed atmosphere. Fun way to spend a few hours and support local small business owners!

Thank you for an incredible afternoon, Kerry!

We just love Art Matters! My child has so much fun creating freely at AM. It’s a wonderful experience for them and I love that the mess isn’t in my house. The staff is amazing and they have taken COVID protocols very seriously which I appreciate. Highly recommend checking this place out!

My daughter and I have been attending weekly classes and love it. The instructor is excellent. She teaches whole group to the six students but adds so much to enrich the experience for the students who can do more. The projects are well thought out and paired with an age appropriate story. Can't wait for more sessions!

We had my daughter’s 5th birthday party at Art Matters this morning. I could not have asked for a better party for her! This was our first time here and they definitely did not disappoint. All of the kids had a blast, and all of the parents said what a great party it was. The space is large enough that you don’t feel like you are on top of each other. They had enough crafts for the kids to keep them entertained the entire time. And the crafts were so cute! The staff was all very friendly also and willing to help with anything we needed. We will be back for sure. I would definitely recommend for anyone who has a child interested in arts and crafts!

Art Matters is a wonderful place to be creative! They hosted a fundraiser called "Paint Your Pet" for our organization and everyone had a great time. Wonderful instructors and atmosphere. We can hardly wait to come again!

Sent my daughter to many of thier summer art camps. Only to find out later. They were taking the kids to a different area to watch TV! I'm not paying almost 200 dollars for my child to watch TV. Never again will I associate with these people.
