If you're looking for an exciting and colorful place to explore in Goa, then FontainHaus is the perfect destination for you. This iconic street is home to a variety of beautifully decorated cafes, bars and houses, each with its own unique style. By taking a leisurely walk through the charming streets, you'll be able to soak up the vibrant atmosphere and experience the lively energy of the area. However, keep in mind that some locations may have photography restrictions, so make sure you check the signage before snapping any pictures.

Pretty colorful place, vibrant colored simple buildings.
Lots of people, for the insta pics, narrow streets.
Walking around this whole quarter is fun, I saw one lady throw a single firecracker which blasted in the air and below were tourists a lot, seems like they were making a lot of noise in front of these private properties, so it's understandable owners get pretty annoyed seeing this thing going on for years.
If you go take some pictures, with respect to the owners property and have a walk around the whole area it's worth it and it's enough ig.
There are a lot of beautiful places around every 500 mts in the area check them out.

Goa's Fontainhas, is a unique cultural gem, noted for its history and beauty. This treasure trove of history and culture is also known as the Old Latin Quarter of Goa. Today, Fontainhas speaks volumes about Goa's rich colonial past. This colourful neighbourhood exudes a charm that captures the heart of every visitor.

Fontainhas' Portuguese history makes it special. The place dates back to the late 18th century and the architecture here has a distinct Portuguese influence. It is evident in the colourful villas, decorated with iron balconies and terracotta tiles. Walking through the pretty lanes of Fontainhas feels like walking between a bridge between the past and the present

It is very beautiful colony, colourful houses and pretty flowers. It gives Portuguese vibes.
My only concern is that it is a residential area as well and I didn’t like bothering. Some residents do not want tourists to click pictures of their property, they have marked “no photography” signs. Please adhere to the requests.

The beautiful neighborhood is known for its style of architecture and old establishments.

This is a residential area so please maintain silence.
Respect the privacy of the residents.
Do not randomly click pictures outside every house because taking pictures outside certain is prohibited.

The best way to explore this colourful neighborhood is by joining for the Fontainhas Heritage walk by Make It Happen.

The place is calm and quiet.
The houses here are built with different colours which are very picturesque . The people are living in this houses as this is a residential area. So please give them the adequate respect and don’t disturb them for photos and all.
