It's rare that I write a review but this place changed my life. I never thought walking into a coffee shop would give me a community and creative outlet at the same time. I'm so happy that they changed the biz module of the menu because it takes pressure off the consumer. ( Just a personal opinion). I love the whole staff and have made friends with them in real life out side of the little shop that could. I hope try hard lives forever and sets the standard for the Austin service industry.
I love y'all very much. Thanks for a good time!!!

We picked up some breakfast at Try Hard while waiting in line for Franklins. I love that they offer easy substitutions like tofu instead of egg! Our breakfast tacos and tot scramble were really good and the homemade chai latte with oat milk was delicious!
What I really liked about Try Harder Coffee Roasters is that they pay fair wages to their staff. No obligation to tip. Flat white was very good and so was my poppy seed muffin. Highly recommended
This is strictly a cookie review. I’m giving it a 3/5. It’s a standard chocolate cookie. I like the chocolate chips used but I felt the cookie dough was lacking in flavour; it almost tasted like a sugar cookie.
The coffee shop itself is really cool. Has a great vibe, with lots of patrons enjoying coffee and good music. There’s lots of indoor seating and many drink, food, and treat options!

This place can be described as eclectic and hip in the genuine sense of the words, excellent coffee of course, the food is pretty good, art and a live DJ with turntables scratchin records with aplomb. (For short sweet travel and cooking videos, you will not regret having visited cuisineQuest on youtube!)
I’ve visited many coffee shops, but Try Hard is the first I’ve ever visited that featured an indie record-spinning DJ on a random Tuesday morning. The folks here do indeed ‘Try Hard’ - the vibes here are fantastic and the coffee is stellar too. I will be back here again on my next trip to Austin
Toured San Antonio, Austin and Dallas over 5 days and this was my favorite coffee spot that I found. The iced mocha had nutty toffee tones that reminded me of my favorite coffee spot in NY. This place gets very busy and seems to have a good following so be prepared to wait. There is a nice patio out back with plenty of seating. This place sells local artists vinyls and gives back 100 percent of the sale. This place is easy to recommend.
