Portobello Promenade View

Love this part of the coast on visiting Edinburgh but never seen it like this All the lovely beach cafes have closed down! Used to be so lively and vibrant even in the winter months

Beautiful seaside and lovely promenade - but nothing else.
If you bring your children and/or dogs, for example, they would love it I am sure.

Had a great day out here recently. Lovely sunny day. Great walking. Stunning views of the Forth. Vast expanse of white beach. Street food huts. Great fish n chips at Oscar's. Lots of cafes and restaurants to choose from. Accessible toilets too. Great reset! Highly recommend. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Amazing doggy friendly place with walks, cafes and eateries

Great walk along the prom unfortunately it was raining when we visited but will be returning to Summer. Plenty of cold water swimmers and dog walkers. snack bars etc.

Beautiful promenade! Very good stable ground so anyone could enjoy the lovely views and very open walkway. The beach looked lovely, we wished it was a nicer day to go sit and swim.. we were just visiting so didn't have supplied either.
Lots of cafes and restaurants if that what you want.

Lovely place for a visit and walk . Portobello High street has many shops and cafes good to walk round . Then headed down Bath street to the promenade and beach were you will find Bars restaurants cafes and street food sellers . There are also amusements and kids play areas . Great for kids of all ages . Good bus links and free parking.
Ps Baynes family Bakers in High street well worth a visit for lunch takeaway.
