Amazing! Vegan friendly 😊🌱 their menu says they “politely decline modifications” so I called before going to a group dinner and asked about vegan options, and they were very non-judgementally accommodating on the phone & at dinner. They gave a few (a few apps & 1 main) on-menu options that could be modified to be vegan, as well as an off-menu pasta option. The mushroom risotto made vegan was delicious! Great food, great ambiance, service. 😇

This restaurant is leaning hard on past reputation and a good location. If you LOVE home made pasta and exceptional flavors, this is not your place. Boxed pasta, overcooked scallops and no originality. Our server was really nice and the old home is charming. The owner owns a winery. His wines are much more affordable than other California wines, so we ordered them, but they were not very good. This restaurant reds a complete facelift and menu update.

Mathew is a wonderful and knowledgeable wine, Connoisseur! The food was superb! I ended up getting a gift card for my daughter and son-in-law as a Christmas present, as a direct result of my lovely evening.

It was our family's 4th time dinning here. We had the Escargot and Burrata starters, they were fabulous! Every dinner entrée we had was exquisite! We sat in the Vangogh room, it was as if we had our own private dinning experience. Our waiter was excellent. I would definitely recommend this Resturant!

We ate outside with the heater on - the atmosphere was amazing. The service was outstanding. We got the duck confit - really good... I only wish I had more!

Absolutely fantastic European food. The cannoli braised beef was phenomenal. The dry aged ribeye was perfect and absolutely delicious. The salads were fresh and full of flavor. The bread was homemade and also good.

The atmosphere in the back dining area is vibrant and full of life.

Service was excellent.

Overall, a well-deserving place to to celebrate that special event.

Serving traditional Italian fare, Casanova is well-known around Carmel and highly recommending on Tik Tok. There are 3 seating areas: an out front patio that allows pets, inside, and in the back courtyard. We sat on the patio where heat lamps kept us toasty.

We started with Bread Service for $9, which was terrible. The bread was burnt and hard. I don’t recommend it. We then tried the Escargot, which had a tasty butter filling. Ask for a side of salt, you won’t regret it. Lastly, I ordered the Gnocchi appetizer for dinner, which turned out to be the same size as other entrees like the Cannelloni. The gnocchi was truly the star of the show: fluffy inside with a crisp exterior bathed in a creamy sauce. Highly recommend!
