Upper Don Recreation Trail

been fishing here, saw some slavs fishin as well and prob munchin 'em. Caught spotted trout.

I love to go here. This is being in the country.
while you are in the city .
There are wildflowers, wild animals, bumblebees and butterflies. These wetlands and this River desperately needs to be conserved as environmental biodiversity thrives here. The meadows have many pollinators. Humans may visit here but need to respect that many other non- human families live here and that this is their territory. Construction needs to stop . Nature and wildlife must always come first before humans and development.

Another nice piece of connecting trail that runs along the river and is well paved for walking and riding as well.

My favourite local nature trail. Beautiful trail for families and solo walkers and bikers. Surrounded by natural beauty and woodland critters. You can see the salmon run in the fall and many up close sightings of deer prancing around. It’s my favourite place right in the city but totally hidden from traffic. Good place to bird watch as well. Love!

I love early morning walks, and it is not busy. The path is clean and beautiful.

The City of Toronto often posts signs that say, "No winter maintenance. Use at own risk." Well that does not deter us does it, from enjoying walks, runs, skis or bike rides outdoors in crisp winter air and sparkling landscapes. Dress appropriately, watch your step and have fun!
