Belizean/Jamaican Cuisine

This was one of favorite restaurants in Palmdale.I went there yesterday & I ordered a combo plate with curry chicken and half ox tails,the oxtails were dry and the rice and peas tasted as if they been sitting there for awhile. I got food poisoning I started vomiting half way threw the plate. And last but not least the woman at the register has given me attitude for no reason at my last visit so I’m guessing this was done on purpose I threw the plate away
$25 wasted.
I WILL NEVER GO BACK!!👎🏾

This was my first eating African food. I was more than pleased at the presentation of my plate, more importantly the food was so good!!

The waiter was very polite, and hospitable.

They give you banana chips before your meal arrives. Let me tell you I have never had banana chips surprise my taste buds like that! So delicious!!

Also the restaurant itself was very elegant, and clean. Very comfortable. They play African music that make you want to move your hips! 😄

We found this place a couple weeks ago and have been coming back weekly.
Food is DELICIOUS and worth the money every time. Be sure to try out the beef patties

Ima fan of the food. This is the 1st place I ever ate authentic Jamaican food so I don’t have anything to really compare it to, the men workers are way more friendly than the women. My go to meal is the curry shrimp or chicken with stewed beans & steamed cabbage… I make my own side of white rice to add to the beans & curry sauce. very fulfilling meal

First time customer the food was delicious!
I ordered curry goat & oxtails. The goat was tender w/flavor and had a nice spice to it. The oxtails were big and meaty but still tender in a thick gravey. I also ordered jerk shrimp! Omg love that dish. Only thing is that they didn't have home made pineapple ginger drink 😕. I got a bottled one. Not the same but it sufficed.

Red bean stew and rice is fabulous I had the goat curry it was decent it could used more juice or sauce I only got a little bit so I was bummed about that. The cabbage is light and fluffy not mushy but imo under seasoned but I do like a heavy seasoned hand. My son had the jerk chicken hey enjoyed it a lot I didn’t taste it wanted to have a reason to go back.
