Beautiful little diner we stopped at for breakfast, very accommodating for young kids / family friendly.

This place had a really hipster/nostalgic and unique vibe! It's a local diner that has photographs, drawings, posters, and interesting things plastered across the walls. It has your classic diner set up with bar stool and open view of the kitchen. There are also many table. Our server was friendly and really helpful especially considering how many tables she had to take care of. The coffee was strong and they had a basic menu with diner staples. The bacon egg and cheese breakfast sandwich was just wanted I needed to start my day off. I liked the old school vibe of writing the order on a price of paper and checking out at the host stand after the meal. Overall, great little find!

Not much to look at from the outside, but what an amazing spot! Great food and service surrounded by history. It was a quiet day, so we not only had amazing food (the Drunken Johnny and meatball omelets were big and tasty) but also got to chat with a member of Louis' family. Don't change a thing!

Smaller place. Portions are large for the price you pay! Food comes to the table hot. Grits had a few lumps and some kind of after taste, but the eggs, raisin toast and potatoes were really good.

In this economy, it isn't easy to find affordable, yet delicious and well-portioned options for the most important meal of the day. Louis filled this void. It feels like it's been at least a half a dozen years since I've had a breakfast this fulfilling. They rank as elite in my price-per-bite metric. Some of the best sausage and eggs I've had in a while. Will 100% be back.

On our way to Newport, we stopped at this amazing place for breakfast. I would like to start with the "drunk johnny" it was legendary. I am an omlette person, but this one stands out of all by far my top favorite one.
I loved the coffee it was perfectly brewed and went well with the omlette and potato.
The highlight of this place is that even the bread they serve here are homemade, and it is really good.

It's worth it and must try if you are in and around the providence. Stop by, and you will never regret it.

Alright, I love diners almost as much as I love great food and this place is a solid gem! I love everything about this place and I can't wait to go back and try more of the food. Be warned: the portions are HUGE! The food portions are definitely sized for blue-collar workers who are out busting their hump on the daily, so if you're a desk jockey (like myself) you may want to just share a meal with your company (nice thing is a lot of their dishes come in small or large sizes, so they've got you coveted regardless).

Again: love this place and can't wait to go back!
