YKO Chicken BBQ

It is a very clean, good and affordable place. The chicken is awesome. The sides are a bit expensive for the quantity you receive but still good.
It is not really made for you to dine in so I recommend you just pick up and eat at home or somewhere else.

I love their chicken. It tastes properly seasoned and very smoky. It sometimes tastes a bit too smoky but frankly I don’t care; I may already be addicted.
The chicken is usually properly cooked, sometimes slightly undercooked, but I usually finish it over several meals and re-heat leftovers in the oven, so not a big problem for me.

The best halal bbq chicken in ottawa. Cousins and mine go to place. Their chicken is smoked perfectly, and can never go wrong with their rice combos. Plantain cooked differently to their other location and it makes a difference. A good one.

Best chicken in Ottawa the service is amazing they treat you like family and it feels like home. The decor is very nice, chill, great for pictures and shows that it’s been made with love. But now the food the best part of YKO is the tastynes of the chicken and the charbon gives it a great taste, the portions are amazing too. I’ve been going to YKO for years and they never disappoint. Try it out you will be pleased.

Hands down the best chicken in Ottawa. The family recipe has been passed down for generations. Ask anyone who grew up in Ottawa, especially in proximity to downtown and the eastern part of town and they will guide you to YKO for the best grilled chicken!

I asked for well done chicken I got it pink. I’m highly disappointed because I had great experience in the past but after this time I won’t be visiting again due to this circumstance. Until this issue is fixed. This was not the first time I get my chicken uncooked at this place.
