The Shrimp Cocktail was good colossal sized shrimps very tasty. Had the oven Chicken with mashed potatoes very flavorful chicken, was perfectly seasoned. The outdoor setting was lovely with a great outdoor band. What a great way to spend the last few days of summer. Definitely going back!!

Every time I come here I am just so blown away.. I love the food, drinks, people, everything about this place!! One of my favorite places to eat on Long Island. I always order the scallops and risotto, and watermelon martini’s. I also recommend the seafood tower and lobster ravioli’s. yum!!!

We walked in and they still took my family and i
. Duck is delicious flavor. Seafood diavol is amazing, their dish is like for 2 people. And the kids menu is plenty of choices and a full regular plate. atmosphere is very hype for summer ofcourse. Late at weekend night they're worse.

After hearing amazing things about the place, we decided to go for our anniversary lunch. Sat outside which was nice- great weather. Diana was a very good server. Husband loved the seared tuna appetizer and the tuna tartar he got. My dishes were all mostly misses, I’m afraid. Lobster bisque was really bad. We order this wherever we go, including in New England. Tasted like straight butter and cream- couldn't even taste lobster/seafood stock and zero trace of sherry…barely ate it. PEI mussels were so so. Huge portion but the sauce was flavorless. Another dish I order all the time from other restaurants, and this one fell very short. The spinach salad with goat cheese was okay- dressing tasted like a low end Kraft type grocery store dressing- weird after taste. Added steak on salad which was a huge portion and pretty tender, but flavorless- tasted like plain steak with zero salt or pepper seasoning.

First time we went our experience was good. Second time not so much. The food was good but service and wait time was horrible, we waited about 50min between apps and entrees, on a Tuesday...

Drift 82 in Patchogue is an absolute gem of a restaurant that offers an unparalleled dining experience. From the moment you step inside, you are greeted with a warm and inviting atmosphere that is both elegant and cozy. But what truly sets this restaurant apart is the breathtaking views that you can enjoy while you dine.

As we sat down to enjoy our meal, we were immediately struck by the stunning vista that stretched out before us. The sun was just beginning to set, casting a warm glow over the water and the surrounding landscape. It was the perfect backdrop for the delicious food that was about to come our way.

We started off with the caprice salad, which was a delightful mix of fresh tomatoes, creamy mozzarella, and fragrant basil. The flavors were perfectly balanced, and the presentation was beautiful. Next up was the carpaccio on the wedge salad, which was a true work of art. The thinly sliced beef was tender and flavorful, and the crisp lettuce provided a refreshing contrast.

But what really made our meal at Drift 82 so special was the attentive and friendly service. Our server was knowledgeable about the menu and made excellent recommendations, and the entire staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome and comfortable.

Overall, I would highly recommend Drift 82 to anyone looking for a truly exceptional dining experience. The food, the views, and the service are all top-notch, and it's the perfect place to celebrate a special occasion or simply enjoy a delicious meal with friends and loved ones.

Came spur of the moment in a beautiful day. Wanted something outdoors on the water. Found this place on yelp and so glad we did. The clams on the half shell, crab cakes and spinach dip were really really good. The carpaccio was really nice but needed more of a dressing. The drinks were delicious too. We will definitely be back. The service could've been alot better but we're understanding how hard it is to find good help these days.
