This restaurant has certainly become a new favorite of mine. I have been there three times now. The food is delicious and reasonably priced. The atmosphere is pleasant, and the servers, although young and perhaps not the most experienced, are doing their best.
This place is super cozy. Had a dozen oysters & they were very delicious & super fresh. To drink was a crown & coke always tasty. The owners & employees are professional, friendly & on top of their stuff. Thank you to my good friend Shaan for taking me to his families restaurant.
Lance took care of us for dinner and he was very helpful and made great suggestions. This place has pool tables and live karaoke. Did not get the bartenders name but she was awesome.
We stopped here randomly on a mini weekend road trip and ohhhhh man. The food slaps. I've actually lived in Louisiana, so I know Cajun food and woof.. they nailed it. The seasoning on everything was wonderful. Lance, our server was friendly and personable! As someone who walks in with (unfortunately) a list of food allergens he walked me through what I should consider and recommended his favorite item for my boyfriend (and it was FANTASTIC!) The red headed bartender was also super funny and cheerful and checked in to confirm that my spicy margarita was spicy enough. The vibe of the whole place seems friendly and welcoming.. if we're ever back in Garden Grove.. the wharf will be getting our business again!
Opens late, great customer service, sports at the bar, Diana and Henry were the only ones on shift ad they were excellent with customer service and explaining the menu. Food was perfect with our buckets of beer and the atmosphere was not super loud which is nice for a relaxing night out.
UPDATE: (Oct. 2023+)
It's under new management & the happy hour has been hacked at to less items & frequency. My favorite fish & fries are no longer on the list. 😭
Since Oct. I've given it about 3 tries & even suggested a friend to "enjoy" the food. Coincidentally each time something wrong happened with the order; there was a late/forgotten order, cold food, little burned...or the opposite.
The manager tried to compensate us with redo-ing the order or a discount on the food. Good efforts by management, but it's not worth the trouble that I might encounter, ... ESPECIALLY with No fish & chips on the happy hour to upgrade to garlic & parmesan fries. The fries itself were the only good & consistent item from both managements.
At least parking is still easy & across the street behind the buildings for all of the establishments on that street.

The Happy Hour has amazing choices! Oysters for $2!?!!! Sunday has all day happy hour. I like places with multiple happy hours. [Refer to image]
The food comes out quickly & in a good portion. The music choice is chill too. Nothing obnoxious. (Lol yeah, I know it's subjective.) The servers are more genuine with their approach & don't have that giddy customer service inflection.
If u like garlic & parmesan on ur fries, this place will not disappoint; it will astound. I gleefully chuckled cuz most places sprinkle; The Warf will top it with scoopSSS.
There is PLENTY OF SEATING, so there is rarely a wait time. We found this place near a local theater that we can have drinks prior to the performance in WALKING DISTANCE.
Next time, I'll try their shots~

Party party party!! If you have a big party and want to have an amazing time with food and drinks you'll definitely have the accommodations here! My wife and I had frequented here multiple times because of the Vietnamese Cajun fusion in addition to the great mixed drinks. My go to is the stir fried baby clams with the bánh tráng: utterly delicious, flavorful and kept true to the varying consistencies and textures with hến xúc. Another go to is the oysters on the half shell with horseradish and cocktail sauce. Want even more delicious goodness? Crawfish Mac and cheese with crispy crumbs on top in a cast iron no less. All of this was before our wedding night. I called ahead to check in with them just to be sure because I didn't want our party to greet them unprepared. The wedding after party was about 50 people, and they were able to accommodate our party easily! The drinks were flowin, and the love and celebration went until we closed them down. You guys are fantastic!!
