#GallopingGoose Trail from #Uptown to #SelkirkWaterway Saanich-Victoria.
Very busy with cycles, mopeds, walkers - bikers can be travelling at great speed. This stretch of #theGoose_Victoria has a high volume of mixed users.
Nice flat, level walk - few over the #TransCanada northbound makes me happy no to trap in traffic!
Interesting murals under a couple underpasses: There are stretches where it is quiet and you can hear the birds, see wildlife including occasional deer, and not hear vehicle traffic.
Well worth the experience. From the Selkirk Waterfront, you can access the Selkirk Trestle over the Gorge to #Vic_West.

Fantastic!!!! This trail is well maintained but make sure you have a padded seat, air in the tires and ready for a beautiful long ride. Don't forget some snacks, there are spots to refill your water along the way.
The fountain is open seasonally (closed on the winter)

What are you asking Google Maps? This is a place along a trail where people meet to start rides. There is history there, a metallic structure that looks like a train (hint), there is a small shelter structure. It's a crossroad on a bike trail so it's a meeting place, literally, not a place to hang-out.
What can I say about this place. It's got it all. A feather fountain. A bench. A couple forks in the trail. Highly recommended.
