Saray Turkish Cuisine

Absolutely fantastic had the best night here! Go on a Friday or Saturday for music and an incredible experience. It was like walking into someone else's family reunion. Dancing, music and great food!!

So many incredible discoveries on this trip! I've been wanting to try Kunefe (Knafeh) for years and I'm so glad I finally did! But also the Toum (garlic sauce), Ayran (drink), the mass amounts of meats in different marinades, and the Turkish coffee were all stellar!

When we got there at 7 and the place was empty we got worried. But when a group got turned away because the restaurant was fully booked, we all got excited. Obviously this is a repeat crowd that knows the standards, because by 745 the place was packed and everyone was singing and dancing along in their seats!

Cigar Borek (spiced cheese spring rolls) - 8.5/10 - a well seasoned and spiced cheese - the only downside is we only ordered 1 plate for the 5 of us

Ayran - 9.5/10 - described as a yoghurt soda with salt and parsley, this is why you have to trust the chef. This was phenomenal, tasted like a drinkable tzatziki, and went perfectly with the meal

Kebab Platter - Adana 8.5/10 (spicy minced meat), Urfa 8/10 (minced meat), Chicken 9.5/10, Beef 8.5/10, Lamb 8.5/10, Lamb Chops 10/10 (incredible!), Chicken Breast 7.5/10. The platter said feeds 4, it could easily serve 6

Turkish Coffee - 8.5/10

Kunefe - 9.5/10 - shredded Philo with a cheesy filling and a rose water syrup. This was the reason I came here, and it didn't disappoint!

Plating - 8.5/10
Ambiance - 10/10 - fun music, lovely atmosphere, beautiful decor. One of our group said "it felt like we were invited to a family wedding"

Overall - 9.1/10

Places like these are why I love the Lower Mainland! You feel completely immersed in whatever culture or cuisine you're wanting, and it's almost always an incredibly fun and eye-opening experience. I will absolutely be back and will be recommending it to everyone!

The food is perfect. The atmosphere is awesome. One of the best restaurants I have ever tried.

The food was great, the atmosphere is very cozy and they have these traditional booths where you can dine with your friends and family. The staff are nice and friendly. Overall would definitely recommend and I would go back

I love the joje here ! It doesn’t smell chicken 🍗 at all and was so soft also delish!
The kobide and rice were not good! Monty needed more salt and Caesar salad was ok!
Our server was so nice and welcoming.

Regarding the food, I must say that was very fresh, tasty with high quality, and the service was perfect and timely. waiters were very polite and friendly. I will definitely go again and recommend it to everyone.

I randomly stumbled on to this place on Google when I was looking for food places to explore in my area. This is a fantastic place. The ambience is so good. Me and my friend went here for dinner and we had a really wonderful time. We started with the Sucuklu Pide, which was recommended by our server as we were debating which Pide to order. This is my first time eating this and it is really good. This is like a flatbread, but it tasted really good. It has mozzarella cheese, sausage, cherry tomatoes on top and every bite was fantastic. For mains, we ordered Adana platter and chicken sis kebab platter. The chicken kebabs are good but the beef was just outstanding. The platters came with rice, bulgur and salad which all are fantastic. To end, we had kunefe which is the perfect way to end it.
Will definitely be going here again just to try more food.
