Chateau La Durantie is one of the most romantic and elegant venues that I’ve had the privilege to shoot as a wedding photographer. It is a lavish and luxurious venue in the most perfect location in the Dordogne.
It’s full to the brim with facilities including a tennis court and pool. The chateau is simply spectacular with exquisite interiors, pristine gardens and grounds. It really is a fairytale french wedding venue! The staff were amazing and couldn’t be more attentive and helpful. I’d highly recommend this very special place.

I photographed Danielle & Stephen’s beautiful destination wedding day last summer here. What a dream location! I highly recommend this venue, staff is lovely. Also look for the stunning mint green bridal suit - makes for some very creative photos with amazing lighting!
What an incredible Château! We are working here this weekend supplying sound, lighting & a DJ for a wedding, first time working here & utterly blown away by the grounds = gorgeous ❤️
We booked Durantie for my destination wedding, and it was everything and more than I could have ever imagined! The Chateau comes equipped with anything you could want or need. Floats and towels for the pool, options for meal bookings, tennis courts with balls/rackets, suggested vendors for weddings.. All of the meals we booked through them were DELICIOUS, and the owners were as helpful and friendly as they come! They made the entire process so easy from start to finish. We stayed 3 nights and we never wanted to leave. Even with the challenge of a 7 hour time difference, they always promptly answered any emails. I cannot encourage you to book this place enough!
We attended a wedding celebration here. It is truly a fairytale location; incredibly glam, well maintained and easily accessible. The owners have kept the original and historical aspects of the property in mind but have modernised it, as well. The wedding party said it was wonderful staying here; there is a lovely pool, walks around the property, the beautiful village of Lanouaille nearby and everything you might need available.
