My daughter had her wedding ceremony and reception here. The place is beautiful. A few of us independently used the word oasis. The staff was so helpful and easy to work with. Everything was handled with the goal of minimizing stress on us. The only issue was a guest arriving during the processional (obviously not the venue's fault), but they tactfully kept the person out of view until it would not be disruptive for her to take a seat. Food was delicious. Bar staff was incredible. The next day we reflected on the day and could not think of anything that could have gone better.
As a wedding vendor based out of Tampa (we're a DJ vendor), we see and go to a lot of different venues in the area. NOVA 535 is hands down one of our favorites. Amazing staff, and amazing location. While there, we dealt with Chris - and he's just amazing at what he does. Super helpful, and just is everywhere doing everything. Every staff member there is extremely professional, and just a pleasure to work with. If you're looking for an amazing venue ran by passionate people that actually care about your event, definitely look into NOVA 535.
NOVA535 isn’t just a beautiful space. The staff are all amazing! Everyone we interacted with from time of inquiry to wedding day was friendly, professional, and helpful. At the very last minute, we had to change from an outdoor to an inside ceremony. The staff did this quickly and flawlessly. Both April’s (AJ and April Sherwin) were excellent communicators. AJ was extremely attentive on wedding day. All the other staff also impressed us with their friendliness and skills- AV tech, bartenders, barbacks, servers, and doorman. They were very organized and made everything go very smoothly without a hitch!
NOVA 535 Unique Event Space is one of the best wedding/event spaces in the country according to bridal and travel magazines, and easily the best in Tampa Bay. The indoor space is 2 story exposed brick, bars upstairs and down, a full DJ booth upstairs overlooking the dance floor, KILLER sound system, and a really impressive lighting system capable of creating any look and setting any mood. The bamboo-lined private courtyard has a cool vibe with an overlooking balcony upstairs. The ownership and staff will realize whatever you can imagine. Your guests will never forget it. 5 stars.
Attended a fabulous networking event at this venue with a vibrant female entrepreneur community. The place offers an amazing indoor/outdoor space, has two floors, bar area, and great sound system!! Staff was incredible, adding to the venue's charm. Highly recommend for events!
We got married at Nova 535 and it was absolutely perfect. We were able to have our ceremony and reception all in one location and use the food trucks and other vendors we wanted. The staff was so friendly and helpful every step along the way. Last but certainly not least their recommended DJ Jaey was beyond fantastic! We wish we could give more than 5 stars and highly recommend!
I am a member of local network group, St. Pete Girl Boss and we hold our weekly meetings in this amazing space! Chris (Manager) is the sweetest and most detail oriented guy I’ve encountered in ages! This space is so spacious and versatile! Our meeting structure changes every week and no matter our vision Nova can accommodate! If you’re considering this space… don’t waste time looking any further!
