It's a great place to get exercise and enjoy the view over the town. The gardens are lovely in summer, and the museum is definitely worth a visit.
Visiting the Tower Hill Lookout in the fall is an excellent idea because the foliage during this season can be absolutely stunning. The vibrant autumn colors of the leaves in the surrounding forests create a picturesque backdrop, making it a perfect time for nature enthusiasts and photographers to enjoy the scenic beauty of the area. The fall foliage adds an extra layer of beauty to the already impressive views from the Tower Hill Lookout.
The garden is just okay, but the view from the top pf the lookout tower is worth the five star, paranormal view of the whole Parry Sound. Although the top is fenced, guess for safety reasons, but I can still manage to get a good picture.
Hidden little gem. Great picture opportunity. Haven't been to the museum, but the grounds and view from the tower are worth spending an hour or two exploring.
What a beautiful hidden gem. We stumbled across this wonderful park while out on a day trip visiting my dad's hometown of Parry Sound. The museum was unfortunately closed for a private event, however, we will come back to check it out. The grounds are beautifully kept. A very peaceful park to visit and enjoy.
Had a fun time at Tower Hill. We were in Parry Sound for a family reunion and decided to tour around before our long drive home. My mom used to play on this tower as a child so we decided to check it out. It was certainly scary going up as I'm afraid of heights but once I reached the top it was definitely worth it. There are alot of beautiful flowers planted around and a fish pond. We took alot of pictures around the gardens. If you're in Parry Sound and looking for something to do Tower Hill is a great option!!
We went earlier in the day. It was quiet and peaceful. Climbing the tower was a little hard for someone who is out of shape, but the views are well worth it. The museum was informative and interesting despite being small. Overall, I would recommend this as a definite spot to visit.
