Where do I start. Eva and Justine…. Helluva host. Eva was a conversational delight whilst Justine was busy beavering away in the back pouring the GOAT pint. It was emotional leaving these gems and if the owner of this amazing establishment ever reads this I commend you on running an exquisite pub (scotch eggs slap as well)

My pint glass runneth over with Youngs Original (AKA Ordinary, a very fine pint).

A proper old school boozer close to Warwick Avenue tube station. Small public bar and snug on the corner, divided from the dining room by wood panels with hinged access doors.

We ate excellent fish and chips / bangers and mash. Comfort food at a realistic price.

Thank you Prince Alfred, simply delightful

An excellent place. The Prince Alfred is welcoming, funny and a bit scary! Situated on, or just off Warrington Crescent, it is a great high ceilinged pub of perhaps the late Georgian era. However, don't be fooled by the high ceilings! They are there to fool you. Only leprechauns and Chihuahuas can navigate this pub without grazing their scalp! No less than four partitions with 4 foot high doors separate this pub into distinct areas. Well done and great fun. Come along and enjoy this special place!! Now I have seen the "Cellars" downstairs, looking like old prison cells but now with comfy seats and tables to put your drinks on. Just super...Also Oli from behind the bar wants to say hello and he invites you all for a drink (he's not paying).

Great old traditional pub near Little Venice and in a beautiful neighbourhood. Unlike any other pub I’ve come across is London, with wooden separators sectioning off areas of the pub, harkening back to days gone by. Food was excellent (had the fish and chips and sausages & mash), atmosphere was busy and overall a quality London pub experience!

What I love about London is the plethora of quaint and quirky places to eat and drink and the Prince Alfred proves no exception. A short walk from London's Little Venice on the way to Maida Vale, I was greeted with a walm welcome from Olly. Just look at the bar, with its narrow openings to access the divided seating areas. You might need to go on a diet to squeeze through the narrow openings! Enjoy the atmosphere and enjoy this idiosyncratic establishment. I'll be booking a table at the restaurant soon - really looking forward to it!

This pub is a real gem, the private sections with their doors are just fantastic. They also had seating in the basement that looked like old prison cells.
Food was great and the service good.
Recommend their Fish and Chips

Been here twice during our little holiday in London. Outstanding food. Waiter is just great. Busy and large pub. High ceilings in hammered metal. Wood throughout.
