Bathrooms are in the worst condition and the soccer fields are always packed and so many dog poops in the grass field's
Dogs off leash, owners extremely Rude and threatening. Not enough patrolling around this area. It use to be a nice park to walk the dogs. Park keepers Not doing enough to enforce or warn those who liter or walk their dogs without a leash!! Awful.
Needs more parking during peak usage times, and the baseball fields could be kept a little neater. Bring your own chairs and umbrellas for games at the football field.
This used to be a great place for people of all ages and all walks of life but now they have made it forbidden to just sit on the bench and say watch the sunset or use their multiple outlets to help charge a dying cell phone so a young child can call home to tell their parents where they are and that they might be late.
nice spot, but my sons team had practice and they couldnt stay to finish practice because they didnt have a permit. permit? really? they ask if they can practice in the grass area and they said no.
Good field crew, friendly snack bar, toilet paper + soap late in the day still, parking is s little scarce, and there’s 2 Pitching plates on each field 43’ and 40’ so it gets in the way of the 14 u pitchers occasionally. Over all a well maintained great field with nice dirt that doesn’t take many bad hops.
Baseball fields are perfect! Leveled and clean. Clean benches and restrooms. Ample parking. You can cross over to the theater, Starbucks or grab a bite after the game at the various restaurants at Downey promenade right next to door.👍🏽
