Story Farms

It's a nice Farmers market overall in death valley has potential but you would have to go real early to get good pickings some stuff is just out too long in my opinion but very sweet people

Spring....get your flowers to plant at your garden.
Summer... the produce is awesome. Corn is amazing. Watermelon is sweet. Tomato varieties are numerous. Lettuce. Eggplant. On and on. Veggie and fruit lovers delight!!! And they carry local baked goods, dairy, syrups, etc. We get all veggies and fruit here all summer.
They only take cash, but safe atm is on site

Story Farm is a Cornerstone for us Locals (Palenvillians). When Story opens we know summer is here as well as their end of season closing indicating Winter is just around the corner. Quality plants, fruits and vegetables are generously available throughout the season. We feel that the pricing is what we like to call "tourist pricing". If I were to make one suggestion, it would be to give a small discount (10-15%) to customers who show a local ID, as that might allow locals to use Story more regularly for our day to day Fruit and vegetable needs as opposed to the big supermarkets.

Just visited this story farms based on reviews. While I agree the produce is very fresh, very few items have any labels on them for pricing. It is bad business to expect people to shop not knowing prices then getting surprised at the register. I kept on asking the young workers what prices were for items and frankly don't know if I got the same response from each person. Also, how about having the checkout people use a calculator instead of itemizing and adding on a paper bag? I won't be returning for this pricing insecurity.

Really enjoyed this farm. Was leaving Kaaterskill Falls and we were curious about the farm. We tried their ice cream (friend did coffee and I did a mountain chocolate chip - finished it with joy). My cousins/nephews had the chocolate milk and wegobbled that really quick (delish)delight. Learned about the eggs and tried the honey and maple (that maple was really good). Almost but a strawberry plant). Was worth the visit.
They don't take card and it was family run, very nice family run business. 😊

Amazing family run farms, they have fresh produce vegetables, fruits, jams, cider, and do offer berry picking which is next to the farms. Note the market is cash-only so bring cash or they have an ATM on premise. Don’t forget to visit the garden center which has a huge collection of plants, herbs and flowers. Friendly staff!

Of all the local farms, Story's Farm is my favorite.

Always fresh produce, always a fantastic selection. Reasonably priced and a great group of people to support.
Cucumbers, tomatoes,onion, parsnips, rutabagas, brussel sprouts, eggplants, pears, apples, pickles, potatoes, meat, pie, soup, maple syrup, apple cider, the list of what they have goes on and on
