The best food to ever set foot in my mouth. I’m not from this area but I’m excited to return just for the chicken tikka masala, tamarind sauce as well as the masala fries! You can tell the owners truly care about their customers. You must go here!

Best Indian lunch special around and excellent quality of food and service. Around $15+ depending on what protein you like. I usually get the medium spicy shrimp korma. The set comes with fragrant rice, a samosa, some addictive warm naans- perfect for dipping into the curry. Also a tangy complimentary drink in a plastic pint. Great deal and very filling. I can't wait to come back for more. (Only item I didn't like was the samosas- the outer layer is too thick and doughy=not my thing)

The man at the front is always kind and provides prompt and warm service without fail.

Also, I miss their lunch buffet from like 5 years ago.

Habib was a GREAT host the food was amazing!! I had the chicken curry with a mango lasse my husband had chicken tikka with a Taj beer the paratha bread everything was fresh and delicious again thank you Habib for the Greattt service

I just wasted $50 on this horrible tasting food, I got butter chicken, ( well that what I ordered) the food had no flavor chicken was dry that was they worst better chicken I’ve ever had could even eat it , do the person preparing the food? Taste the food is selling people because this is outrageous and something needs to be done about this. I need a full refund because I’m truly upset. PS don’t ever eat at this place. I Need A FULL REFUND !!!!

In 2023 it was delicious 😋 and Guess what in 2024 it's even better I truly love ❤️ this place. It's such a relaxing and sublime experience with by far some of the best customer service you could ever ask for. The food literally takes you on a journey to India and its magnificent cuisine my tongue each time I take bite it's like heaven and I must say please deserves more publicity because it's definitely a diamond 💎 in the rough. Highly recommend this beautiful little restaurant in uptown Manhattan literally across the street from city college. Thank you again for warming not only my body but also my spirit😊🙏

They deserve a hundred stars! The food is so good, and the barley soup reminds me of my mums personal recipe. Make sure to have the Indian iced tea as well! Trust me when I say, they are so sweet, humble, and welcoming. God bless them! Be sure to tell your friends how special they are.

I would give 10 status for the service if I could . Mr Habibi was so kind, intentional, thoughtful and wonderful with his service. You could tell he wanted us to have an experience and not just to sell food. I would absolutely go back just because of him.
The atmosphere is also very relaxing , something about the ceiling fan, lighting and vibe just makes you feel very calm and relaxed , all my friends said the same thing.
Unfortunately we could not get the lunch specials on the weekend and that was a bummer .
I won’t say the food was over the top but it was pretty decent .
