I had delicious breakfast here before, decided to try the dinner…OMG! It was delicious and surreal. I did it expect such a wonderfully prepared (Berkshire pork chop.

Went there after visiting brown county park and I have to say it was a mistake. We ordered pot roast which looked like someone had vomited on the potatoes. My little one got spaghetti and the waitress didn’t even bother to get her a fork. Terrible service, terrible food. Their air conditioner for sure doesn’t work and the old man who was the owner I think doesn’t put any effort towards greeting clients or cleaning the place. The vents in the floor were covered in dirt from I assume the 20’s. Seemed like this place has never been cleaned up since in existence. The only good thing about this place were the restrooms that were very clean . Never coming back to this nasty place again. I am just shocked at the reviews which is what took us to this place. A gas station is cleaner than this place and the waitress put zero effort in doing anything.

This was one of the most AMAZING lunches. The food was phenomenal. All homemade. We have the
Jambalaya and pot roast sandwich which wasn’t on the menu, but order it. You won’t be disappointed. The best pot roast we have had in our life.

After such and amazing lunch we went back for breakfast! Wow! Flavoral and yummy eggs Benedict and French toast. When we come back to Nashville this will definitely be the main place we eat.

This place is old but boasts the traditional quality of food. Loved the dishes we tried here. Everything was unique and was flavorsome. We tried chicken cilantro, tuna melt and pork tenderloin . There was a unique touch to the preparation. The ambience was very cozy and the building was very old. We thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The parking is going to be an issue as this was right along an intersection and you will have to park your car away and walk.

Great little restaurant in Nashville, Indiana in an old historic building. Food was very good and service outstanding! I had the Pot Roast Sandwich and that beef was falling apart good. My husband had Bratwurst and sauerkraut that was delicious. The desserts looked great but we were too stuffed. Definitely give it a stop in when you visit Nashville!

My two children and myself had brunch here Sunday morning around 10. We waited a few minutes for seating. As we walk to the back of the restaurant I can see every table is full, and there were a few people behind us in line. I didn't catch our waitresses name but she greeted us almost immediately and got our drink order. Throughout our interactions and her having several tables she always had a smile, was kind and never let our drinks get empty. We decided to be rebels and get the strawberry shortcake for breakfast, the build your own omelet (ham, cheese and spinach) and the hills, I believe. Everything was soo good! The omelet and scrambled eggs were so light and fluffy and cheesey! The biscuits and gravy had big chunks of sausage and was a good consistency, not too thick and not too runny. I didn't even salt any of my food. The seasoning was just right for us. And that strawberry shortcake.... it came out looking promising. Promise delivered. The strawberries had a sweet syrup (I'm guessing it was a simple syrup) with them and the cake. The cake was moist and had not quite a crumble top to it. From what I could tell a homemade whip cream but it was thicker and creamer so I'm also wondering if it had whipped cream cheese folded in. Either way I want it as part of my final meal on this earth.

You should definitely try this sweet little gem of a restaurant if you find yourself in Nashville.
