Dark Sky Tattoo

I had my realistic cat tattoo done by Matt Misiak. He did an incredible job but I don't think I would ever go back to him because of how long he took. He took soooo many breaks, and he didn't stop talking at all. I was mentally drained by the end of it. Took him 2 hours from the time i got there to finally start tattooing me because of how much he talks. He had the nerve to charge me for the 8 hours I was there that could have been easily been 4-5 hours for a forearm tattoo. Unbelievable. Also, I reached out to him a week later for the photos he professionally took of my tattoo (which he never posted) and I got no response, twice. Again, I am very happy with the outcome, he is amazing at what he does, but be aware of this about him.

I worked with Mike Sloan. I had an old cardinal tattoo that I wanted to update and have it brought to life. He suggested a coverup and reimagined the new piece. I know have two beautifully detailed cardinals on a tree branch. This amazing piece is so amazing and realistic. I get completes constantly. I cannot speak highly enough about Mike's work or his professionalism. 10/10 would recommend!

By far the most professional shop I have ever been in, and they take their work with pride and craft exceptional pieces of art for their clients! Shout out to Ryan Methric! Incredibly creative artist and I am honored to be tattooed by him. He has been tattooing my wife and I since he started at this shop and we get nothing but compliments from friends and strangers from the magazine quality work this man (and his colleagues) put out at this shop!!!

I couldn't be more impressed with Dark Sky Tattoo! I just completed the final session on a calf sleeve with John and had a fantastic experience. John is an incredible artist who clearly loves what he does, pays exquisite attention to detail, and is always professional. I'm honored to have one of his mind-blowing cosmic tattoos!

The space is very clean, artistic, and comfortable, and their COVID precautions are top-notch. They provide surgical-style face masks that everyone in the building wears at all times. The tattoo booths each have their own air purifier and are separated with barriers in between. There are only four artists, but they work different schedules so there was never more than one other artist there during my sessions. I felt very safe at all times!

Overall, I'd highly recommend Dark Sky Tattoo. I have tattoo sleeves from both John and Ryan and am beyond pleased with both of them!
