Good hiking. Nice views. It's a bike trail also, so be careful, especially if it has rained recently. It has steep hills and wood ramps at certain points that become very slick. Dog friendly.
Good hills for exercise. Has periodic workout stations. Very scenic. Very clean bathrooms. More of a challenge to walk then parks in the area, worth the climb for the views.
This is a great spot for walking but also for biking. Some days there is a small Cafe on the premises that caters to cyclists. There's a spot to wash off bikes or fix a flat tire. The enclosed building is available to rent out & it's great, very clean. The path to walk is paved & it goes under a cool railroad bridge. There is a path for mountain biking which is very cool. Along the paved path there are some pieces of equipment for working out arms, etc. A few steep areas on the path no matter which way you go.
It was very nice, they had a little coffee shop right next to the trail entrance. Staff were really kind. The first hill is a killer and it's right at the beginning. Mountain biking paths were good just a little narrow at most of the points. Features were well made just kinda difficult so.i wouldn't recommend for your first time biking. I crashed on one of the features but it wasn't bad very grassy so it didn't hurt much. I messed up my bike but they have a fbike fixing station at the front which was really nice to fix my bike. I would recommend checking it out if you're into biking and not new
Thank you Montville Twp for acquiring this property and making it amazing! The walking path is perfect for low intensity cardio due to the amount of hills. Also, the mtb trails are some of the best in the Akron area.
This is a well kept,peaceful park. There's walking trails and a little coffee Cafe up front near the parking area. This is an easy to find location, off of river Styx road. The delightful and charming Cafe inside serves an array of coffees,juices,and teas,with a few frozen treats kept in a chest cooler. To my knowledge they do not offer meals or sandwiches yet. But they're working on it.
Beautiful trail with bridges, landscaping, and creeks. Very hilly and steep inclines at times. Walking trails are paved and well kept. In the winter wear proper footwear, snow on the inclines get slippery. Our dogs loved it.
