The Coral at Atlantis

They don't have microwave in the rooms. There were no printed maps. Only Available through QDR codes. But Atlantis has maps available everywhere. Not coral. No breakfast area, just Starbucks style cafes. But loved staying there. The Aura night club DJ sucks man!
The next day was different DJ it was little better.

2nd Visit! Amazing restaurants and in-house entertainment. Great place for FAMILIES. Very kid oriented.
Rooms were a little basic, but the views made up for it. I suggest adding for the OCEAN VIEW.
Housekeeping left a used towel in the room when we arrived, and we had to request the room to be cleaned again.

The largest resort in the Bahamas and yet no one is available in the span of 2 hours (and ongoing) to let cars out of the parking garage. The claim is the system is down and yet they have no fail safe to allow cars to exit. A simple key can fix everything and yet the largest resort in the Bahamas has no one that can help. Come on Atlantis, do better. The world of technology is great but get a backup plan for when it fails. Simple.

Since I arrived Saturday July 29th for a 4 nights stay at The Coral Atlantis hotel in the Bahamas, I was extremely disappointed by the lack of consideration and disregard for my room request.
After making a reservation for an ocean view room, I found out that the hotel had refused to give me an ocean view room upon my arrival.

This greatly affected my enjoyment of staying at the hotel. I had traveled from France for this special occasion and chose this hotel for its stunning ocean view. When I noticed the front desk to explain the situation, I was informed that the hotel was fully booked and there was no room available with an ocean view.

I understand that hotels can experience last-minute changes, but the fact that the hotel did not honor my specific request during the reservation process is unacceptable. This shows a lack of consideration for the customers.

Unfortunately, this experience had a negative impact on my overall appreciation of the hotel. While the facilities and amenities are of good quality, the lack of consideration for customer requests is unacceptable. I would not recommend this hotel to other travelers looking for a pleasant stay in the Bahamas.

The location next to the marina is great. It's a little bit of a walk to Aqua adventure however. The rooms are spacious with a nice balcony and everything inside worked. The hallways are a bit dated, carpets need replacing.

Had a great time but the building is getting old. They need to update the rooms to compete with others. The rooms could use sound proofing especially the connection rooms. We were able to clearly hear next room conversations. They were not even loud. It seemed like we had no privacy at all.

Don't listen to all the bad reviews, people are just salty because they are upset spending money on a luxury hotel and wanted to be cheap about it! This property is unlike any other, yes it is expensive, but you can definitely budget your stay! There is a pizza place called Marina Pizzeria where you can get budget friendly pizza. I also frequented Plato's, they have relatively inexpensive sandwiches, chips and desserts. I spent $15-25 per person per meal. It wasn't so bad. The Coral has updated rooms, my room was really nice. No mildew smell as others complained about or old furniture. They do include gratuity on all of your bills, but I still tipped extra! These people complaining about tipping are disgusting. These workers work hard and everyone was super nice/friendly to me. Don't go on a luxury vacation if you can't afford it. The Coral is worth the money you spend on it! Just having full access to the Atlantis property with all of the pools and beaches was worth the money to me. I felt very safe and comfortable. Don't let these bad reviews steer you away, I'm so glad I didn't!
