Hidden burger place, food is ok-ish. Not the best burger I had but the atmosphere is different in a good way and after the long, maze-like walk to find this place it was a nice place to relax and have dinner at. It was kind of kid-friendly as it was noisy enough that no one was bothered by the kids, they had the opportunity to add to the decoration and on our way out they got a sticker each. First place I have a burger at in the US that does not offer refills. Fries were nice and crunchy though. And as it is located inside of a upscale hotel the restroom was very clean.
This Hamburger Restaurant is hidden inside of the Thompson hotel. Graffiti on the walls gives you an old school atmosphere. They have the best cheeseburgers that I’ve ever had.
Burger Joint New York City restaurant is located inside of a hotel. It gets pretty packed and sometimes hard to find seating. Our wait time was a little over 20 minutes. The burger patties are thick and flame broiled. Burger was decent.
Lieu incontournable à New York, c'est un lieu incroyable d'originalité dans son emplacement. La nourriture à été très bonne (et je suis difficile). Le service été très poli et avenant et pourtant c'était full. Attention pas de réservation possible et énormément de monde donc un de temps avant de pouvoir avoir une table ou manger mais le service se fait bien.

Caché à l'intérieur d'un hôtel, derrière un rideau rouge, vous arrivez dans un espace très cosy et avec une note de underground.
Les burgers sont très généreux et pas trop chères.
Attendez vous à faire une longue queue (entre 30 minutes et 1 heure) pendant les heures de pointe ( midi et soir).

This place is no joke, we went on the recommendation of a friend, but I should’ve read some of the reviews as trying to find it is somewhat challenging. It’s like an old speakeasy, if you know, you know. Once we made it past the red velvet curtain, it’s like all hell broke loose, just a buzz of activity. The taste took me back to my childhood. Hell of a burger, but it should be, by the time I loaded my double cheeseburger up it was $28. Our timing was perfect as we seemed to hit it just before the line quadrupled in length. All four of our party loved it and I’d definitely return when I have an appetite again.

It doesn’t have the typical beautiful atmosphere that matches the hotel. It’s a hip spot filled with old-school graffiti all over the walls. The staff is super friendly and the services was great.
The burger, fries and milkshake are signature and
come in all different type of varieties.
It’s a must try if you’re in the city.
