If you're in Hell's Kitchen/Midtown and looking for a great lunch spot, you have to check out Der Leung. Their lunch special is a steal, and the red curry is hands down the best I've had in years. It's rich, flavorful, and just the right amount of spicy. The place has a cozy vibe, and the staff is super friendly. Perfect for a quick, delicious escape in the middle of the day. Don't miss it!

Love their lunch special. The salad is delicious and I love the Tom Yum soup. They have great service. Always refilling water. The waitress checked with me first that I would not being using a fork before taking it. I love coming here to eat! Delicious food and great service!

Little paradise, food was amazing, must try the chicken dumplings 😋. Great portions for the price. Alot of delicious flavors on the food authentic 😋 Thai 🍵 delicious 😋

I used to be a regular at this restaurant, dining here every week with my family. However, our recent experience has left us extremely disappointed. Despite the restaurant being nearly empty on a Monday during lunch time, they were unwelcoming and gave us a cold reception when they saw we had a baby stroller. We simply wanted a side of tofu for our baby, which they serve as an option for all dishes, but they refused to accommodate us. It's worth noting that they could have easily edited a side option in their system and adjusted the price, but they chose not to do so.

What's even more disheartening is that we've encountered cleanliness issues in the past, such as spotting a roach on our table during one visit. Despite this, we gave them another chance and continued visiting the restaurant. However, their lack of consideration for their regular customers is unacceptable. We will not be returning to this establishment and cannot recommend it to others.

There are so many Thai restaurants in Hell’s Kitchen. This one of the good ones. I learned Thai food from My college roommate who was from Thailand. So I like authentic Thai food. The curry puff and very good and Tom kha kai soup had all the authentic ingredients like galangal, kaffir lime leaves …
I asked for Prik nam pla (Thai chili with fish s sauce) for fried pork belly with Chinese broccoli, they were happy to make for me.
I will go back there any time.

Food was great, I really loved how each dish had a distinct flavour and wasn't just the same mixture of ingredients over and over again. Would 100% recommend the drunken noodle. However, the food did take a while to come and although it's not mentioned whatsoever, on the menu it says 25% automatic gratuity for parties of five or more. I find five to be a pretty low number for that type of rule.

I always come for their lunch special. Great proportions and for the right price. All together it was no more than 16–17$! One of the best Thai restaurants I have been to!
Only negative feedback is the Atmosphere is a bit awkward since tables are tightly together, it’s a small restaurant and the music is way too low( this woudlnt be an issue if you come with friends) . Just be mindful you can literally hear conversations.
