Great local spot to get a walk in on the beach, word of advise, if high winds bother you, make your walk in the AM, as the day progresses, the winds pick up as it gets warmer. Otherwise, a great spot, has a bathroom, parking is limited. There is also a Cafe in the hotel to grab a lunch or a snack, enjoy.

This was my mom's favorite place to be. We celebrated Mother's Day and my birthday in Sunday

This is the very first beach I ever went to, after moving to the west coast. I often like going back there. The views are beautiful and it is peaceful here.

Beautiful beach with large dunes, that when windy, push the sand along the ocean creating a unique gale effect. Quite cold during the winter season so dress appropriately.

This is a great beach to take a nice long walk along! I was lucky enough to visit it on a sunny day!
The beach is always awesome, yet if you know the Oregon coast, then it's no surprise that wind & or rain is often a factor, with this visit, no exception. Forecast 69°,partly sunny with light winds, but in reality, it was 64°, 20+ mph wind. It made flying my drone difficult, so I was unable to get much footage. However, the ocean was beautiful to see, so that's why I give it 5☆'s. Heceta Beach County Park has a day use parking fee that offers 2 restrooms, *no plumbing, so I wouldn't recommend lingering too long. In addition, the location offers a couple of picnic benches and water.
No one needs my recommendation to head to Florence or Heceta Beach, but I will give it a thumbs 👍 up anyway.

I couldn't get enough of this glassy beach. Many gorgeous ocean views await you here but please avoid the Porto-potties. They smell treacherous
