BWI MARSHALL MARC STATION sb

I work in DC and I've been riding the Marc train to and from the BWI station for over a year now. The trains run promptly consistently with very few issues. There have been a few times where my train would be cancelled in the morning commute, but a train would follow about 20 minutes later. Honestly, the Marc lines are more reliable than the WMATA metro. In addition, everyone is so friendly and helpful - from the rep over the phone helping me create a reoccurring order to those that collect tickets on the train. One small complaint I have is the doors on the Marc. Don't get caught in between one closing because it really hurts! Otherwise, great service!

First time here. Great parking, easy to get to. Friendly staff. Small but nice train station.

No handicap accessibility. Get on quickly!

FYI - the airport shuttle does NOT run every 10 minutes between the hours of 5am and 1am as noted. The wait is more like 25 minutes…

This station is currently being renovated. There is a temporary trailer for people to go to while waiting. Essentially, you go across the street to board the train outside. Loosely put, this is like a drive by. You wait outside at the track to get on at the time posted. The train stops loads passengers quickly and takes off. Don’t expect a train station like the ones in Philadelphia or New York. The drop off area for taxis etc. is in the back behind the parking garage. This is my first time catching the train at this location. I’d be interested in seeing how the completed renovation improves this station.

This station is about 5 miles from Live! Casino and Arundel Mills. There’s several hotel options about 5 miles away in the Arundel Mills area as well.
