Terrible management - blanket statements given to employees about information. Improper training and poor organization. Consistently short staffed and given excuses. Charge your card without notifying. This place is just not worth the headache.

My son has been going to Kaleidoscope for a few months now and absolutely loves it! From the owner Heather to the front desk team to the instructors, it’s just so friendly and welcoming and well-run. We’ve had to change classes a few times and they couldn’t have been more accommodating. I’ve also met some great parents there too, so that’s always a win! Thank you, Kaleidoscope! ❤️

Absolutely wonderful dance program. My daughter looks forward to it every week. We are also happy that they can cater to a child with sensory issues.

Such a welcoming and fun dance studio! My daughter absolutely loves every class she’s had and her instructors! Everyone is so friendly, welcoming, understanding and kind! We will definitely be members here for as long as my daughter loves to dance!

My child has attended classes and camps for 6 years and we’ve had nothing but a positive experience. The teachers are kind and encouraging. It has classes and experiences for students that are just there to have fun and those who are interested in a more focused dance environment. Participation in recitals is not mandatory. Classes are co-ed, anyone is welcome in them. Changing areas and bathrooms are also gender neutral. There are dancers of all shapes and sizes and there is not an emphasis on looking a certain way. They don’t necessarily go out of their way to advertise these things, but it’s important for potential dancers and their families to understand this the kind of environment that Heather, the owner, fosters.

There are obviously a lot of options for dance in the Skokie/Evanston and greater North Shore area, but with Kaleidoscope you have a low pressure welcoming environment matched with a ton of class options and teachers who are well educated dance professionals. We don’t have experience with other dance schools, and I hear great things about other local places, but nothing I’ve heard sounds better than Kaleidoscope.

The dance instruction here is unparalleled! The teachers are all so well suited to the different age ranges, and the studio commits so much to high quality performances. We've been coming here for years, and every interaction has been spectacular. Highly recommend for anyone who wants high level dance instruction, or just introductory classes. Heather and the whole team are wonderful!

Kaleidoscope Dance has been a great place for my daughter. We've been coming for years for hip hop classes and she recently joined the performance group. The studio creates a welcoming and positive environment for the dancers. I also greatly appreciate that they pay special attention to ensuring that the music and dance selections are appropriate for kids and are positive in their messaging.

Now, during the pandemic, they have demonstrated great care, flexibility, and creativity. Families can choose between in person or online. The in person is reduced capacity and they have installed the air filters needed for safety. For the performance group, they have pivoted to producing a music video that will be shot outdoors. We love Kaleidoscope Dance!
