Kadambra Restaurant

Kadambra is now running in a temporary place next to the previous restaurant. The lunch at kadambra is good and has a traditional curry of great taste. The meat and fish items are a little spicy like traditional toddy shop. Overall the taste is good. Since the restaurant is currently running in a temporary place, no much seatings are available and is too hot during the noon lunch times

I visited this hotel during a weekday for lunch with a group of 18 members. We ordered all the items available in the menu , here are the main reasons why i rated only 1 star for this restaurant.
1. You will see only onions in Prawns roast or rabbit roast. They put only small quantity of meat.
2. The gravy is the same for most of the curry we ordered except for fish tenga curry or Mapas.
3. As they know most of their customers are from infopark, the menu is so expensive when we look at the quantity and quality of food.
4. The waiters and owners are basically thinking that the infopark people are ready to eat whatever they serves.
5. Try to order fish fry , so they cannot fill the plate with only onions.

Kadambra Restaurant shifted to a nearby building due to the renovation. They provide a wide variety of non veg dishes especially seafood dishes that are really good. Fish head curry, Crab roast, Squid ring are must try. The cost is also reasonable. Hygiene wise the hotel is just average.

went for lunch on a weekday. not much rush. many a times team lunches are held at this place. famous for seafood, rabbit,pork etc.
we had fish curry meals with prawns fry, chicken fry & fish fry.
It was okay - meals comes with loads of vegetarian sides and curries - really tasty.
fish fry was average - i ordered king fish.
chicken fry and prawns fry was good.
overall a good experience.
staff was polite and eager to serve.
place was clean but had this lingering smell of fish and meat which i didnt like.

We ordered 2 fish curry meals(100 rs per meal) for lunch .All the side dishes for the meals were so good and had a good quantity.Sidedishes came in seperate bowls and with good quantity .Fish curry was too good .Apart from meals we ordered koonthal roast (Rs.230)which is super tasty and chicken chilli(Rs.150).Both tasted good and came in a good presentation .Both quality and quantity is maintained well.We payed Rs .580 for 2 fish curry meals ,koonthal roast and chicken chilli which i felt is worth for the food.There is ample parking space and huge dining space .Very friendly staffs and altogether a good experience

Visited here two days back. The customer service was great. All sorts of seafood items are available here. We tried squid, pork fry, prawns fry and karimeen fry.. Meals tasted great but the fry items disappointed.

Worst experience faced from here today. Before it was little more better. We have ordered koonthal roast, karimeen fry and prons roast as special, the prons roast is average rest of the other was pathetic, I think the karimeen was around one week older and we already doubted is that a karimeen or philopy. And the koonthal roast is just like chilly water with tomato( thakkali itta mulaku vellathil vevatha koonthal ittathu). When I asked the same to the service person he replied "here it is like this". Before that we ordered kappa biriyani an tha person said it is finished after some time the same person serving kappa biriyani to other table. Such an irresponsible behaviour, as a customer i can't tollarate this.

Note to the owner : if you want run this organization smoothly please spare some time in the hotel and understand the things or post some persons with responsibility
