Stroganoff

We came today to celebrate Mother's Day. The food is amazing, the stuff are so pleased to deal with. We had such a good time, its pleasure to come here again. Special thanks to Olga.

The cabbage rolls are like homemade, so flavourful and just tmelts in your mouth.
Beef stroganoff is to die for, so tender and juicy without taking the flavor away from the beef.

Organized a surprise birthday party at Stroganoff and the servers went above and beyond to make the party special. Food was delicious.

I have many friends who visit this restaurant and all we love Stroganoff's food. Some of them come all the way from Mississauga to try Stroganoff's delicious fish and chicken meals. The servers are very kind ladies giving a perfect service! The restaurant has a unique and very warm atmosphere. I love their vintage decor as well. Parties, catering or take out, you can choose. No wonder why Stroganoff has such a great reputation and repeating customers. Not to forget there is a lot of space for parking.

Like a Mom & Pop restaurant, that is INCREDIBLE.
First time having Russian food! This made me feel like I was travelling and enjoying a local meal! So cool!

Food:
- Herbal Tea - this was incredible!! I don’t ever drink tea, and I drank more than 1 cup… so uniquely flavourful with herbs.
- Signature Stroganoff Salad - possibly the best salad I’ve ever had. I ate so much of this.. like way more than I expected to)
- Stroganoff-Style Pelmeny - some of the best dumpling type food I’ve had! So rich, creamy, and mushroomy! And the beef was delicious.
- Cabbage Rolls - were fun! The inside was tasty, it was a nice flavour beef.
- Chicken Kiev - delicioussss! Made with butter in the inside! (I liked this over the beef stroganoff personally)

This is not our first time at this restaurant. Our first experience was much better than recent one. We had a family diner and ordered new dishes to try. Cesar and Avocado salats were fresh and tasty, plate of herring was not so fresh, salat Olivier was average. We tried this time fried calamari that was very good and tasty. For the main menu , we ordered rainbow trout that was a bit dry, lamb stake and beef shashlik were also not soft and more overcooked. For desert we ordered syrniky and cherry blintzes that were good but not wow. So this time we enjoyed food less. I would recommend to read reviews prior ordering food! In overall, nice atmosphere, great friendly staff and do know that to order in advance !

What a lovely birthday celebration! The food was authentically European, the staff was kind and welcoming, the ambiance was perfectly crafted with interesting decor... safe to say we really enjoyed our dinner here!
