Loved the food and the atmosphere. So much history in this place for movie and Spielberg lovers!

Lovely, small, kosher dairy restaurant in Beverlywood. Owned by Steven Spielberg's mother & full of Spielberg photos. Food is excellent, we had Sunday brunch of lakes & eggs & blintzes.

I took my daughter here last week on our vacation and it exceeded our expectations. The place is clean and charming. The food we ordered was delicious and they make the most delicious carrot cake ever!!! A definite winner when you want a dairy meal in LA.

We went to this restaurant basically because it was run by Spielberg's mother. The acoustics were a nightmare. A large party was seated when we got there. We could not here each other over their noise. Two more large parties came while we were eating adding to the noise level. The portions were small and expensive. Service non existant. A real disappointment. The blackened halibut fish tacos were purple Cole slaw in a taco shell with a very small strip of fish and two thin slices of avocado. The salmon puffs about an inch square. Other better places in LA.

I have not been to this place in over a decade. In fact I am usually turned off by dairy restaurants. I had a weak moment and my wife made me try it again. WOW was I in for a surprise. The waiter was polite and courteous. Gabriel the server came over to us almost immediately and seemed very sincere and offered his opinions which ended up being spot on. The food came out extremely fast and was very tasty!!!
I give this place two thumbs up.

Their food is sooooo good! Especially the cheese blintzes! I have gone here so many times and they never disappoint!!

This restaurant is delicious! I haven’t been back since they remodeled it and was so happy to see how they upgraded the space. It’s really tastefully done. The dining room has a nice homey feel.
Ok, the food:
Very fish heavy menu- everything was
super yummy! We ordered the fish chowder- very decadent, creamy and had nice big chunks of fish. Def ordered it!
Fish taco were great. It came with a side of Caesar salad which gave me memories of the old place!
Tuna melt was 10/10.
There is a nice mix of healthy and heavy dishes which makes this restaurant a good option for lots of different type of people or moods.
Overall experience was 10/10
(Besides for the temp, it was freezing!)
