Very nice museum with lot of animals, skeletons and dinosaur fossils. It is not big but they managed to fill it out with amazing stuff. Entry is for free. There is a parking in front of the museum. You will find here lot of information about the nature. It is a two hour visit. Recommending getting here by taking Polybahn from Central tram stop.
Zoological Museum of Zurich is an ultimate museum and very big.
I visited the place on the weekend and there was no queue. You'll find numerous of animals, birds, dinosaurs, fishes and other wild animal sculptures inside the museum.
There is no entry fee for the museum and you can definitely add it to your list when you visit Zurich.
I've attached the most of the remains and sculpture pictures and I had an amazing experience. You are definitely going to love it if you have little interest in history and zoology.

Visited today, such an exciting experience for kids who love all things animals. The extinct Tasmanian Tiger a huge highlight for us, unfortunately I forgot to photograph. Highly recommended visit

This museum is perfect for teaching children while having fun. Many interactive activities to enjoy. Free entrance. A large parking lot is very close, in a small park on the main road. Once here, after the visit, I suggest to spend some time at the nearby terrace, to enjoy a great view of the city. If you come by public transport, then it's worth to ride the funicular whose station is at the terrace. Children would love that. And also most of the grown ups.
