I really enjoyed this cute little neighborhood park. It is 2.3 acres, so it's still big enough to go for a nice nature stroll. As you will see from my photos and videos, it is packed with towering mature fir trees, which allows you to feel as if you are in a small forest. 🌲

What's super cool is that the city of Vancouver has a program called Naturespaces, which utilities ecologically informed practices to restore and enhance publicly managed sites like local parks, trails, and nature preserves. You can sign up for a day of planting by contacting them. It truly is a wonderful program to help keep the Pacific Northwest beautiful and green! 💚

The playground here is also really nice for the kids. It has all the classic fun components to it and it is in good looking condition. There are benches and a picnic table around the playground area as well as a water fountain. There is also an open green space just big enough to play ball in, run your fur babies, or simply sit and enjoy an old-fashioned picnic in the sun.

I definitely recommend this park, and once again, encourage you to always do your part when visiting parks and other nature sites by picking up after yourself and your pets.🐕

I love taking my dog here because it's close to home, but this park is basically made of dog poop. No one cleans up after their dogs here even though there are bags and a bin at the entrance. It's a huge bummer that I can't play fetch with my dog on his long line without worrying it's going to be dragged through poop or I'm going to step in poop. We went today and our play time turned into community clean up time. I picked up 8 bags of dog poop and it was all in one quarter of the park. Didn't even make a dent in what's there. Neighbors, please clean up after your dogs.

This is my second time at the Buchanan House for Christmas decorations. I've never seen anything so beautiful. We will come every year

The park is pretty small but I do like the fact that it has both swings & a tire swing. It is kept up nicely & during December the people across the street decorate the house (to the max) so it is nice to look at that. The small wooded area behind the park is also really nice to walk a dog around. While I have visited I have never seen anyone have their dog off leash also & everyone picks up after themselves (as far as I have seen)

If you're looking for a fun family outing for this wonderful holiday season look no further than this house for spectacular Christmas lights.

I love the short nature walk here when I need a moment of peace but can't do a long walk. Or you can just do laps through the mini forest which is well maintained. The is a fun play ground and some picnic tables there too. There's no covered area if you wanted to do a big event with possibility of rain. There is also an unfencrd dog park connected to the right side of the park. I've never had an issue with loose dogs running up to me which is a relief as it would change my desire to go walking there. Overall we love it. ❤️

It's a nice, quiet, little neighborhood park. Does feel like it's in the countryside. Seems like a good place for kids to hang around outdoors.
